Israeli Troops Enter Southwestern Syria, Several Arrested in Nighttime Operation

June 12, 2025 — Israeli troops conducted a rare ground incursion into southwestern Syria early Thursday morning, arresting several individuals during a nighttime operation, according to Israeli military sources.The troops reportedly crossed into Syrian territory under the cover of darkness and targeted suspected militant hideouts.
