Israel is Pushing the World Toward a ‘Nuclear Catastrophe’: Moscow

Israel’s ongoing attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities pose an unacceptable threat to international security and are pushing the world toward a nuclear catastrophe, according to Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement released Tuesday, Moscow said Israel’s continuous and intense attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations are illegal under international law and are dragging the entire world into a dangerous situation.

Russia has claimed that this conflict could further destabilize the Middle East, and it has urged Israel to immediately cease its attacks on nuclear facilities.

According to Russia, the sharp reaction from most of the international community to Israel’s aggressive actions demonstrates that Israel is relying solely on the support of its allied countries.

Last week, Israel’s allies passed a biased resolution against Iran using the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), effectively giving Israel a green light and paving the way for this tragedy.

Israel claims that Iran is on the verge of developing a nuclear bomb, which is the reason behind its attacks. However, Iran has dismissed these allegations as baseless.

Iran has consistently stated that its nuclear program is peaceful. It has accused Israel of deliberately launching these military operations to sabotage ongoing diplomatic talks with the United States.
