Iran has developed a deadly cruise missile using artificial intelligence (AI). This new missile can target objects over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.
According to a report by Mehr News on Monday (February 10), the information was disclosed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri.
He stated that a cruise missile with a range of more than 1,000 kilometers has been developed, and its accuracy and capabilities have been enhanced using AI.
The report mentioned that during an event marking the anniversary of “Operation Valfajr-8,” Tangsiri emphasized the full military readiness of the navy. He also warned adversaries about any threats in the regional waters.
He further stated that the IRGC and the navy are working together to prevent any foreign forces from entering Iran’s territorial waters.
In his speech, Tangsiri highlighted Iran’s advancements in missiles, drones, ships, and submarines. He also stated that despite sanctions, Iran’s military progress continues.
