Among the Indians living in Iran, several are university students. The Ministry of External Affairs reported that with Armenia’s help, 110 Indians have been evacuated from Iran in recent days, and the rest will be evacuated as soon as possible.The Indian Embassy in Iran has provided several helpline numbers for assistance. Additionally, three WhatsApp numbers have been provided: +98 901044557, +98 9015993320, and +91 8086871709.Meanwhile, India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said in a message posted on social media platform X that he spoke with Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan about evacuating Indians from Iran, and the Armenian Foreign Minister agreed to provide assistance.The Indian Embassy in Tehran stated that many Indians have already been moved to relatively safer locations from the capital city Tehran.
