Hugh Jackman has announced the cancellation of his much-awaited UK concert, which was set to take place at London’s Hyde Park on July 6, 2025. The decision comes due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, leaving fans deeply disappointed.
The X-Men star, who first revealed the special show in November 2024, shared the news via a statement on BST’s Instagram page. Expressing his regret, Jackman said, “This was a stage I truly was looking forward to being on. No less in a city that I love so much. Thank you to all people who’ve purchased tickets. For ticket refunds, please go to the link in my bio for more information. London, I will see you soon!”
The Hyde Park concert was set to be a grand musical event, featuring Jackman performing iconic songs from Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, The Boy From Oz, and The Music Man, accompanied by a live orchestra. It would have marked his first UK stage appearance in five years.
While British fans will miss out on this special performance, Jackman is currently captivating audiences in New York with From New York With Love, a musical showcase running over eight weekends in 2025 at Radio City Music Hall.
Jackman, who recently reunited with Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool & Wolverine, had hinted at upcoming projects following the movie’s release. Though his London show has been canceled, his statement suggests he hopes to return to the UK stage soon.
