Hrithik Roshan to Start Krrish 4 Shoot in Summer 2025 After War 2

Hrithik Roshan is currently busy shooting for the much-awaited War 2 in the YRF Spy Universe. However, another highly anticipated project for the actor is Krrish 4, the next installment in the iconic superhero franchise. It has now been confirmed that Hrithik will begin filming Krrish 4 in the summer of 2025, once he wraps up War 2.

According to a recent report by Midday, the makers of War 2 are planning to complete the film by April 2025. Director Ayan Mukerji is set to dedicate the final schedule entirely to action sequences, aiming to surpass the previous film’s stunts and fights. A source revealed, “The April schedule will focus solely on the fights and stunts, after which the film will be wrapped up.”

After completing War 2, Hrithik will begin shooting for Krrish 4 with Agneepath director Karan Malhotra. The script for Krrish 4 has been in development for the past few years, and filming is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025, with shoots planned in Mumbai and parts of Europe.

Earlier in 2024, Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan, confirmed the progress of Krrish 4 in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. While he announced his retirement from directing, he confirmed that he would be producing Krrish 4 and would be making an official announcement soon. The superhero series, which began with Koi Mil Gaya, followed by Krrish and Krrish 3, has seen Rakesh Roshan at the helm, but he will only be serving as a producer for the upcoming installment.

Meanwhile, Hrithik continues to shoot for War 2, which also stars Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR. The action thriller, a sequel to the 2019 film War, is set to release in 2025. Hrithik will reprise his role as Kabir and is also expected to make a special appearance in the Spy Universe movie Alpha.
