‘Hitler’s Treasure Hunters’ Sells to 60 Territories

Keshet International has secured major global distribution deals for its six-part docuseries Hitler’s Treasure Hunters, produced by Perpetual Entertainment. The unscripted series, which delves into the Nazi SS’s pursuit of treasures and religious relics during World War II, has been picked up by a range of prominent broadcasters across 60 territories.

The docuseries, which coincides with the 80th anniversary of Hitler’s death and the end of the war, has been acquired by Hearst Networks EMEA, covering countries such as Belgium, Hungary, Poland, and Sweden, as well as sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, Warner Bros. Discovery secured rights for Spain and Andorra, while Polsat took the free TV second-window rights for Poland. Keshet International is also in talks with other broadcast partners.

Hitler’s Treasure Hunters explores the Nazi regime’s obsession with legendary artifacts like the Holy Grail and Thor’s hammer, which were believed to hold the key to victory and Aryan supremacy.

This marks a significant achievement for Keshet International, which previously announced the series at Mipcom and the London Screenings last year. The company has also sold its first fully funded docuseries, Catch Me If You Can, a true-crime series about elusive murderers, to TVNZ in New Zealand.

Both docuseries are part of Keshet International’s Greenlight: Factual & Formats commissioning initiative, which has helped bring fresh content to TV screens globally. The initiative is seen as a vital response to current market demands, with Keshet’s Managing Director, Kelly Wright, highlighting the collaborative efforts involved in producing and selling these projects.

With Hitler’s Treasure Hunters and Catch Me If You Can gaining traction worldwide, Keshet International continues to expand its influence in the unscripted TV market.
