Halle Berry Takes Revenge with a Kiss at Oscars 2025

Hollywood actress Halle Berry created an iconic moment at the 2025 Oscars, rekindling memories of a similar event from 22 years ago. The moment occurred when two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody, who won Best Actor for his role in The Brutalist, was giving an interview at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

As Brody was speaking to Mario Lopez, Berry made a surprise entrance, playfully announcing her intentions to kiss him. The 58-year-old actress, dazzling in a mirror-studded Christian Siriano gown, approached Brody and, with a wink, kissed him passionately, much to the surprise of the audience.

Before kissing Brody, Berry jokingly apologized to his long-time partner, Georgina Chapman, saying, “Sorry, Georgina, but I have to do it.” The crowd erupted in laughter as Berry pulled Brody in for a warm kiss, recreating a memorable moment from the 2003 Oscars when Brody kissed her after winning the Best Actor award for The Pianist.

Berry later recalled that moment, saying she had waited 21 years to “turn the tables” on Brody. “I’ve been waiting 21 years to get him on the red carpet and slap one on him,” she laughed, adding that she had been wanting to pay him back since that unforgettable night in 2003.

The moment was met with cheers as Brody embraced Berry, and both actors shared a nostalgic and heartwarming interaction that reminded everyone how certain moments in Hollywood history never lose their magic.
