Global Goals Youth Summit 2025: Youth of Today Are Tomorrow’s Leaders


The Global Goals Summit 2025 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on January 23-25. It will bring together young leaders, activists, and innovators from around the world to discuss crucial topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This summit allows adolescents to address issues such as poverty, injustice, and climate change while actively contributing to the United Nations’ SDG agenda. With inspiring speakers, interactive speak-up sessions, and collaborative conversations, you’ll discover fresh ideas and skills for effecting real change.

Youth participation in sustainable development efforts is critical to achieving sustainable, inclusive, and stable societies by the target date and avoiding the most serious threats and challenges to sustainable development, such as the effects of climate change, unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, conflict, and migration .
Today, there are 1.2 billion young people aged 15 to 24, accounting for 16% of the world population.1 Youth participation in sustainable development efforts is critical to achieving sustainable, inclusive, and stable societies by the target date and avoiding the most serious threats and challenges to sustainable development, such as the effects of climate change, unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, conflict, and migration .

Individuals with an SDG mindset are frequently drawn to opportunities, innovation, and new value creation. In this event, all participants are brought together to improve collaboration. The SDGs’ aims include a universal scale and a comprehensive framework for supporting countries throughout the world in achieving sustainable development through three approaches: economic development, social openness, and environmental sustainability.
Today, our globe faces challenges such as climate change, persistent poverty, entrenched inequities, and more. However, one critical solution is empowered youths who desire to take action to make a difference. The leadership session is a program that aligns with our objective of developing and improving their talents so that they can become future leaders and SDG agents.
