Frustrated Jagannath University Students Chant “Fake, Fake, Fake” Upon Arrival of Advisor Nahid Islam [Video]

Jagannath University Students Rally at Secretariat, Demand New Residential Campus in Keraniganj.

Jagannath University students gathered outside the Secretariat demanding a second, permanent campus in Keraniganj equipped with residential halls. As Information Advisor Nahid Islam arrived, students greeted him with chants of “fake … fake … fake …,” reflecting their dissatisfaction and frustration with the current situation.

The students, unwavering in their stance, declared they would continue their protest until the education advisor personally addressed their concerns. Their primary demand centers on an expanded campus in Keraniganj, including residential facilities, which they believe is crucial for improving their educational experience.

Advisor Nahid Islam responded to the students’ demands by acknowledging the legitimacy of their protest. He encouraged the interim government to consider their requests seriously, recognizing the proposed campus as a necessary step to enhance the university’s infrastructure and better serve its students.
