First Trailer for In the Lost Lands, Fantasy from Game of Thrones Creator

The first trailer for the highly anticipated action fantasy In the Lost Lands, based on a short story by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, has officially been unveiled. The movie stars Milla Jovovich as the powerful sorceress Gray Alys and Dave Bautista as her rugged guide, Boyce.

Set in a world ravaged by war, In the Lost Lands follows Gray Alys, who is sent by a Queen to the desolate wilderness known as the Lost Lands, on a quest to find a magical power. Along the way, she is joined by Boyce, and the two must navigate a treacherous landscape, battling both human enemies and terrifying demons.

The trailer, which dropped on YouTube, opens with Boyce setting the stage for their dangerous journey. “The world you know is gone, consumed by the flames of a great war long ago,” he warns. “All that’s left now are the Lost Lands.” The pair soon face numerous threats, from brutal gunfights to supernatural creatures, culminating in an intense confrontation with a villain who declares, “She has become a symbol of their defiance. This woman needs to die.”

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, known for his work on the Resident Evil series, In the Lost Lands promises plenty of action, fire, and dramatic showdowns, including a glimpse of a two-headed snake in the trailer.

Jovovich was first connected to the project in 2015, with reports suggesting she was in final talks for the lead role. Alongside her and Bautista, the film also features Arly Jover, Amara Okereke, Fraser James, and Deirdre Mullins.

In the Lost Lands is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 7, 2025. A UK release date is yet to be announced. Fans of both Martin’s work and action fantasy films won’t want to miss this epic adventure.
