Sean Dyce’s two-year stint as Everton head coach has come to an end.
Three hours before the third round of the FA Cup, Everton gave the shocking news. The Premier League team has sacked Shaun Dice as head coach.
Everton will face Peterborough United at home on Thursday at 8:45 pm local time. At around 4.30pm, the club announced that the 53-year-old Dice and four other members of his coaching staff had been relieved of their duties.
Everton are having a very bad time in the Premier League this season. They won only three of their first 19 games. They are at number 16 with 17 points.
Everton appointed Dice in charge in January 2023. In two years under his coaching, the team won and drew 26 out of 84 matches and lost 32.
The 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday was the last match of the English coach at the club.
