Elizabeth Olsen Joins New Thriller, Future in Marvel Still Unclear

Elizabeth Olsen, known for her roles in Love and Death and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has landed a new movie role. According to Deadline, she will star alongside Julia Roberts in a thriller titled Panic Carefully. The film is written and directed by Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.

This project marks a reunion for Roberts and Esmail, who worked together on Netflix’s Leave the World Behind. Warner Bros won a bidding war for the film, securing it for a theatrical release, but the plot remains a mystery for now.

As for Olsen’s Marvel character, Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch), her fate is still unclear after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The movie left Wanda’s status ambiguous, though Olsen has expressed interest in returning if the character is used well.

“I love playing Wanda,” Olsen said, adding she’d like to explore a more humorous side of the character in future projects. “She’s been through a lot emotionally, and it’d be fun to show a lighter side of her story.”

For now, fans can look forward to seeing Olsen in her upcoming thriller alongside Roberts.
