Djokovic Faces Alcaraz After Easy Win

Novak Djokovic seems to have overcome that deficit by losing one game each in the first two matches. After winning by Daput in the third round, he won in straight sets this time as well. Beating Izzy Lehechka, he won the ticket to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, where Carlos Alcaraz is waiting for him. And a thrilling fight is in front of tennis lovers. In the fourth round at the Rod Laver Arena on Sunday, he defeated the 24th seeded Lehechka of the Czech Republic 63, 64, 76 (74).

This day, Alcaras’s last eight game was confirmed as Jack Draper withdrew due to a hip injury in the previous match.

Some of the matches between Alcaraz and Djokovic in recent times have produced great excitement. As in the last two Wimbledon finals, Alcaras lifted the trophy after defeating the great Serbian star.

However, after defeating Alcaras of Spain at last summer’s Paris Olympics, Djokovic tasted the Olympic gold medal for the first time.

And this year’s first Grand Slam can be called Djokovic’s own kingdom. . He has won record 10 times champion here. The 37-year-old star is on a mission to take the number beyond the reach of others.

If he wins here, Djokovic will surpass Margaret Court and become the record holder for the most Grand Slam wins in tennis history.
