Demi Moore Talks Supporting Bruce Willis Through Dementia

Demi Moore recently provided an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis’ health after his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. Willis, who had previously stepped away from acting due to aphasia, was diagnosed with dementia in 2023. Despite their divorce in 2000, Moore remains a consistent presence in Willis’ life, sharing that they will “always be a family, just in a different form.”

She emphasized the importance of supporting loved ones, saying, “I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love.”

Moore also expressed hope that their situation might inspire others to see that there’s life and co-parenting after divorce. She visits Willis weekly and hopes their openness about his health could bring comfort to others going through similar struggles. Their daughter, Rumer, had previously shared that her father was “doing OK” and noted the outpouring of support for the actor.

Moore is currently nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Substance, after winning her first major award at the Golden Globes last month.
