Clueless the Musical: First Look at the Cast in Action!

It’s been 30 years since we first met Cher Horowitz in her iconic yellow plaid ensemble, and now Clueless is hitting the West End in a brand-new musical adaptation. We have an exclusive first look at the cast in action, and it’s everything we hoped for – from the ’90s looks to the energetic performances!

The stage production features Emma Flynn as Cher, Keelan McAuley as Josh, Chyna-Rose Frederick as Dionne, Romona Lewis-Malley as Tai, and Rabi Kondé as Murray. These talented performers bring the beloved characters to life with all the charm, humor, and iconic fashion we adore from the movie.

As shown in the photos, the musical captures the spirit of the original with colorful outfits, dramatic poses, and lively choreography. From the classic backwards Kangol hats to the stylish plaid, it’s clear the Clueless magic is in full swing.

Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the original film, has penned the book for the musical. She expressed her excitement, saying, “I couldn’t be more excited… I am totally in love with the brilliant new talent we have been working with and can’t wait for audiences to be thrilled with their singing, dancing, their heart, and humor.”

The music for the show is composed by Brit Award-winning KT Tunstall, known for her hit song Suddenly I See, with lyrics by Grammy-winning Glenn Slater, who also wrote the lyrics for Sister Act: The Musical and School of Rock: The Musical.

Based closely on the beloved 1995 film, Clueless the Musical will be playing at the Trafalgar Theatre in London’s West End until September 27. Tickets are available now for all you Bettys and Baldwins who can’t wait to experience this fabulous new musical.
