Chloe Grace Moretz Confirms Engagement to Kate Harrison

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz has seemingly confirmed her engagement to long-time girlfriend Kate Harrison, marking a new chapter in their relationship. The Kick-Ass star shared a heartwarming New Year’s post on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into her personal life. In the post, Moretz and Harrison are seen displaying matching diamond rings on their ring fingers, sparking speculation that the couple is now engaged.

“Happiest New Year,” Moretz captioned the photo, adding, “So thankful for what this year has brought. The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year.”

Moretz and Harrison have been romantically linked since December 2018 when they were first spotted together at Nobu in Malibu. Since then, they have kept a relatively low profile, with the engagement news being the latest in a series of milestones for the couple.

In other news, Moretz was recently seen in The Peripheral, a Prime Video AI drama set in a technologically advanced future. The show, which explores the concept of alternate realities, was initially renewed for a second season but was ultimately canceled in August 2023, reportedly due to the ongoing writer and actor strikes that have impacted Hollywood productions.

Despite the show’s cancellation, Moretz had previously expressed excitement about the potential direction of the series, particularly the exploration of different “stubs” (alternate versions of reality) and the expansion of the story beyond London.

As for Moretz and Harrison, it appears 2024 is already shaping up to be a year full of joy and new beginnings.
