Charlize Theron Joins Christopher Nolan’s New Movie

Charlize Theron is going to be in Christopher Nolan’s new movie.

Theron, who has starred in movies like Mad Max and Fast & Furious, is the latest star to join Nolan’s next film. This movie is the follow-up to Oppenheimer, according to Deadline.

Theron joins a group of big stars already announced for the movie. These stars include Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Robert Pattinson. The movie is set to come out in the summer of 2026.

Right now, the movie doesn’t have a title or any confirmed story details.

Tom Holland, who is famous for playing Spider-Man, recently talked about how excited he is to work with Nolan. He said getting the phone call about this movie was a big moment in his career.

Holland said, “When the opportunity came, it was the phone call of a lifetime. It was like getting the call about Spider-Man 10 years ago. I’m super proud and really excited.”

Holland hasn’t shared any details about the movie but said, “I’m incredibly excited and honored, but that’s all I know.”

Although Theron’s role in the film is still a secret, she recently talked about The Old Guard sequel. She said that the second movie is finally moving forward after some delays.

She explained, “We got kind of stuck, and our post-production shut down. They were going through a lot of changes, but I understand it. We finally picked it back up, and I’m really excited.”

Theron also said, “The sequel is really good. I only wanted to do it if we could make it amazing. It’s really important to us.”

Christopher Nolan’s new movie is set to release on July 17, 2026.
