Barcelona thrash Real Madrid 4-0

Robert Lewandowski scored twice in three minutes in the second half as Barcelona blew Real Madrid away in a sensational Clasico victory.

When Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns, it usually delivers drama and aplomb. Sometimes that manifests in one-goal thrillers, but this time, the theater came in the form of an astonishingly lopsided scoreline.

Barcelona went to the Bernabeu for the first El Clasico of the 2024/25 season and stunned the Real Madrid faithful with an emphatic 4-0 victory to mark one of the most eye-popping results of the young European football season to date.

Already sitting atop the standings in La Liga coming into the match alongside their resounding 4-1 win over Bayern Munich in Champions League play midweek, Barcelona arrived in full force to put themselves in even firmer control of the domestic table with a commanding six-point lead.
