Barcelona Returned To Victory After 54 Days With 7 Goals

Barcelona was under a lot of pressure after losing points in the last four matches in La Liga. They lost two of these four matches and drew in the other two, leaving them far behind in the title race. In such a situation, even before the match against Valencia on Sunday night, the team’s fans and supporters were worried.

Losing points in this match will make the path to reclaim the La Liga title even more difficult for Barca. But in this important match, Barca was seen in a different mood. Who knows, the pressure may have reawakened Barca. And Valencia’s forehead burned because the hungry Barca woke up. Valencia flew past the Catalan superpowers with a huge 7-1 margin.

Barcelona’s last win in La Liga was on December 3 against Mallorca 5-1. Followed by draws against Real Betis and Getafe, losses to Leganes and Atletico Madrid. However, in the 54 days between the two wins in the league, the team won only 6 matches played in the Copa del Rey, Champions League and Spanish Super Cup.

Barca, who won the league for almost two months, won the ball in Valencia’s net in the first half of the match. Barcelona scored 5 goals at the Olympic Luis Company Stadium at home, and the other goal was suicide. Great game Fermin Lopez has named Franki de Young, Ferlan Torres, Rafinia and Robert Levandsky, along with the scoreshit. Barsa went 5 goals in 5 minutes in the match.

Then added two more goals before the break. And the other two goals came after the break. Lopez reminded Lionel Messi with two goals and two assists in this match. Messi was the last to score a pair of goals and a pair of assists in a La Liga match for Barca. The Argentine superstar showed this skill against Real Valladolid on October 28, 2019.

Despite this great win, however, Barca has to remain at number three in the points list. At the end of 21 matches, Barca’s points are 42 with 13 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses. They are still 7 points behind Real at the top. Real’s points are 49 with 15 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses in equal matches. And Atletico Madrid, which is second, has 45 points in 21 matches with 13 wins, 6 draws and 2 losses.

“We were in a bad situation in La Liga,” Lopez said after the match. We needed this win. Now we can continue the fight. There is still a long way to go and we will fight to the end.’

Describing Barca’s victory as ‘perfect’, coach Hans Flick said, ‘I love the hunger of the team and the way it showed. The match did not end 2-0 or 3-0. It is good for the team to have players of this quality. We started the match very well. Now the next match is at home, we have to move forward like this.
