Bangladesh Cricket Team Embarks on All-Format Tour to Sri Lanka Starting 17 June 2025

The Bangladesh national cricket team is set to commence a comprehensive tour of Sri Lanka from 17 June to 16 July 2025. The tour encompasses two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs), and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The Test series will contribute to the 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship standings.

Test Series:
• 1st Test: 17–21 June at Galle International Stadium, Galle 
• 2nd Test: 25–29 June at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo 

ODI Series:
• 1st ODI: 2 July at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo 
• 2nd ODI: 5 July at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
• 3rd ODI: 8 July at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy 

T20I Series:
• 1st T20I: 10 July at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy
• 2nd T20I: 13 July at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla 
• 3rd T20I: 16 July at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

• Angelo Mathews’ Test Farewell: Sri Lanka’s veteran cricketer Angelo Mathews has announced his retirement from Test cricket. His final appearance will be during the first Test against Bangladesh in Galle. Mathews has been a pivotal figure in Sri Lankan cricket, and his departure marks the end of an era.
