Awami League Holds Flash Procession in Dhaka Demanding Government Resignation

The Awami League organized a sudden flash procession in Dhaka on Tuesday morning (April 15), demanding the resignation of the current government. The procession was held under the banner of Dhaka-11 constituency by Dhaka North City Awami League and its affiliated organizations.

The protest march took place on the main roads of Badda, Bhatara, and Rampura, led by Mazhar Anam, Organizational Secretary of Dhaka North City Awami League, with participation from local leaders and activists.

Participants chanted various slogans including:

“Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu”

“Who are you? Who am I? We are Bengalis!”

“Your and my address: Padma, Meghna, Jamuna”

“Sheikh Hasina will return, Bangladesh will smile”

“Sheikh Hasina has no fear, we haven’t left the streets”

“We do not accept this illegal government”

“Sheikh Hasina’s leadership is needed again and again”

Earlier, on April 6, the Awami League also held a similar flash procession from Baitul Mukarram to Bangabandhu Avenue, led by former General Secretary of Dhaka South City Awami League, Shah Alam Murad
