Arsenal eyes January transfer to fill the void in attack

However, coach Mikel Arteta has not confirmed that the club will buy players at this time.

In the last few weeks, one injury after another has hit the Arsenal camp. Coach Mikel Arteta has said he will keep an eye on the January transfer window after his last attacking midfielder Ethan Wanneri was ruled out.

Bukayo Saka, who has been in a great rhythm since the beginning of the season, was out for a long time due to injury a few days ago. Wannery got the chance to fill the void of this English winger.

The 17-year-old footballer played in the starting XI in the last two matches; He also scored the team’s only goal in the 1-1 draw with Brighton in the last league. However, the coach picked him up in the first half due to injury.
Arsenal will face Newcastle United in the League Cup semi-finals on Tuesday. Arteta confirmed Waneri’s muscle injury at a press conference the day before.

“Unfortunately, he has a muscle injury. He will be out for a few weeks. ”

Another experienced midfielder, Raheem Sterling, is also out injured. There is also concern about Kai Havertz’s game in the upcoming match. Due to not having enough options to fill the void of the attack, the club is thinking of buying a player in the current squad. However, Arteta did not say anything confirmed.
