Arsenal Coach ‘Very Worried’ About Salibao Injury

Injuries are not leaving the Arsenal players behind. A new addition to that long list is William Saliba. Mikel Arteta, the coach of the London club, is very worried about the French defender getting injured. This 23-year-old footballer played the entire match.

He could not play in the Aston Villa match on Saturday because of the hamstring problem. Arteta did not keep him in the squad for the 22-goal draw.
Saliba’s absence affected the match. Despite leading by 20 goals, Arsenal failed to leave the field with a victory. Which had an adverse effect on Arsenal’s performance. The team, which was in contention for the title throughout the season, lost its rhythm towards the end. In the end, Manchester City won the league title.
“Tomorrow we will have more information. He will undergo further tests and then we will have a clearer picture of his injury.”

“Of course we are worried, especially looking at the number of players in our squad and on the bench. Very worried.”

Saliba has played 20 league matches in Arsenal’s jersey this season. He scored two goals.

22 games Arsenal is second in the league table with 44 points. Liverpool are at the top with 50 points after playing one match less than them.
