Arnold Schwarzenegger Stars as Santa in The Man with the Bag

Arnold Schwarzenegger is trading in his action hero persona for a jolly new role as Santa Claus in the upcoming holiday film The Man with the Bag. The actor, known for his iconic line “I’ll be back,” was spotted in New York City donning a white beard and festive attire while filming the family adventure.

Schwarzenegger shared a photo of himself as Kris Kringle, captioning it, “Santa Claus is coming to town!” He expressed excitement about working with co-star Alan Ritchson, known for Reacher, and praised director Adam Shankman, calling him one of the funniest he’s worked with. The film’s official plot, from Amazon, follows Santa’s stolen magic bag and his quest to enlist a thief from his naughty list, Vance, to retrieve it.

This isn’t Schwarzenegger’s first holiday movie; he previously starred in Jingle All the Way (1996), where he played a father trying to secure a coveted Turbo Man action figure for his son.

The Man with the Bag does not yet have a release date.
