Argentina Beat Brazil By The Biggest Margin In History

Argentina stopped at exactly 5 goals. Or Brazil could stop.

Brazil lost to Argentina 4-1 last night at the South American Under-25 Championship. Brazilian supporters can feel the feeling of survival, despite the digestive tract to the opponents. That goal did not have to be digested! Otherwise, the nightmare of ‘Seven Up’ was 5 years ago.

Brazil did not have less humor to digest goals to Germany in the World Cup semifinal. Imagine once, if the goals were Argentina, what would it not have to read! That is why he is about to leave the storm.

So there is no way to hide the ‘wound’ of six goals. Never before in the history of the continental championship has Brazil lost by such a large margin. Until last night, Brazil had never lost by more than three goals in the competition’s 71-year history. The last time a team lost 6-0 in the South American U-20 Championship was in 2013. Colombia scored 6 goals against Bolivia.

But the bigger pain for Brazil is elsewhere, the greater joy for Argentina. This is Argentina’s biggest margin of victory against Brazil at any level of the national team (under-15 to senior team).

Earlier, the Argentina national team defeated Brazil 4-1 in the Roca Cup in the 5th. Argentina was the largest at any level of the national team against Brazil for so long. After 5 years, Claudio Achevirira wrote the record.

In the Brazilian media, Argentina has called Har to be ‘shame’ and ‘shame’. Mim is being made in Argentina. One of the mums spread on social media, like the Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) logo, is sitting next to the logo and looking at the logo.

This was Diego Placente’s first match as the coach of the Argentina U-20 team at the Misael Delgado Stadium in Valencia, Spain. Placente replaced Javier Macherano as Inter Miami coach last December. It was also the first match between Brazil and Argentina in this year’s South American U-20 Championship.

Plasente made the XI for the 2023 Under-17 World Cup semi-final with the main players of the team. Argentina scored 3 goals in 11 minutes. Valentino Acuna was the source of River Plate talent Yar Subiabre’s goal in the 6th minute. Acuna played the role of Lionel Messi in the documentary made by Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia about Lionel Messi.

Manchester City’s (now at River Plate) 19-year-old forward Etcheverry scored Argentina’s second goal in the 8th minute. Acuna was also the source of his goals. Brazil’s right back Igor Serrato scored a suicide goal after three minutes. After the break, Argentina scored three more goals in 52, 54 and 78 minutes.

Just like the first half, Agustin Ruberto and Echeverri gave Argentina goals in the 7th and 9th minutes of the second half. Santiago Hidalgo scored the last goal.

After the victory, Argentina forward Etcheverry said, ‘We played great. We were ready. Playing against Brazil is always a different motivation. We will not stop, we will improve further.’

The Under-20 World Cup will be held in Chile next September. The top four teams from the South American championship will qualify for the age-group World Cup. A total of 10 teams are competing in the South American Championship divided into ‘A’ and ‘B’ groups. A total of six teams will be played in a round robin with the top three teams from each group. From there, the top four teams will get a place in the World Cup in Chile.
