Araujo In Barcelona Until 2031

Ronald Araujo’s relationship with Barcelona is getting longer. The Uruguayan defender will stay in the Catalan club until 2031.

Araujo, 25, has a contract with Barcelona until 2026. The new agreement extended it to five years.

The future of Arauho, who has been sidelined for a long time due to injury, has been discussed a lot in the past few days. Several clubs, including Juventus, were rumored to be interested. However, the Barcelona vice-captain stayed at the Camp Nou for a longer period.
The Catalan club reported on Arauho’s new agreement on Thursday.

Aruho was out of the field in the first half of the season in a hamstring injury to the last Copa America. At this time, young Pau Kubcysi and experienced Inigo Martines have handled Barcelona’s defense.

Aruho got the chance to return to XI in Martine’s injury. He was in the early six matches in Barcelona.

Aruho joined Barcelona from Uruguay’s Boston River in the 21st. He has played more than 150 matches for the club so far, he has won the La Liga title in the 2022-20 season.
