Amelia Dimoldenberg Returns to the Oscars as Social Media Ambassador

UK comedian, broadcaster, and producer Amelia Dimoldenberg is set to return as the Social Media Ambassador and Red Carpet Correspondent for the 97th Academy Awards. Dimoldenberg previously held the same role for the 96th Oscars season, and will once again provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the star-studded event, offering a unique and engaging perspective to global audiences.

Dimoldenberg, who gained widespread popularity through her YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, where she interviews celebrities across various industries, will host interviews with nominees and talent on the Oscars red carpet. Her production company, Dimz Inc., has amassed millions of followers and views across social media platforms, further cementing her role as a prominent figure in entertainment.

The 97th Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre in Ovation Hollywood, and will be televised live on ABC, streamed on Hulu, and broadcast in more than 200 territories worldwide. The official live red carpet show will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, followed by the main ceremony at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
