After a dramatic 120-minute battle, 10-man United beat Arsenal in the tiebreaker

Shortly after the start of the second half, Manchester United went ahead with a great goal. The drama started there. In a short time, they became a team of 10, digesting goals. Arsenal got a golden opportunity to make a difference; But they couldn’t use it. After that, United dragged the fight to the tiebreaker with the pressure of the opponent. Huben Amuri’s team reached the last sixteen of the FA Cup by winning the test of nerves.

After a 1-1 draw in regulation and extra time in the third round match at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, United won 5-3 in the tiebreaker.

After Bruno Fernandes put United ahead, Gabriel Magaleis drew parity. Altai Bayondir then emerged as United’s hero. After stopping Martin Odegor’s penalty shot at the scheduled time, the Turkish goalkeeper also stopped a shot in the tiebreaker.

In the 52nd minute, Fernandes broke the deadlock with a wonderful goal. The Portuguese midfielder took the team forward with a strong shot on the right foot by catching the pass of Alejandro Garnacho from the right side of the box.

The joy of going forward, however, did not last long for United. Dalot saw two yellow cards in the space of 10 minutes before and after the goal. In the 61st minute, the Portuguese defender left the field after seeing the second card by fouling Mikel Merino in the midfield.

Within minutes, Arsenal equalized. When United’s goalkeeper and defense players failed to clear the ball in the box, Brazilian defender Maglias found the address in a great shot behind the post.
Within ten minutes, the hosts got the golden opportunity. In the box, Kai Havertz was fouled by United defender Harry Maguire and the referee played the penalty flute. But Odegor’s spot kick jumped and stopped goalkeeper Baindir.

In the rest of the time, Arsenal continued to attack. But no one could do anything to make the difference. Then Havertz’s failure in the tiebreaker and United’s joy in search of light.
