Gaza City, Gaza Strip – The streets of Gaza are filled with joy as children celebrate a long-awaited ceasefire agreement that brings an end to 15 months of relentless shelling and incursions. In a poignant display of resilience and hope, Palestinian children danced and chanted, proclaiming, “We are the people of Palestine!”

The ceasefire, reached after intense negotiations, has provided a much-needed respite for the people of Gaza.
