Ryan Reynolds Drawn Into Legal Dispute Over ‘Deadpool’ Character, Claims Justin Baldoni

The ongoing legal dispute between Hollywood stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has taken a new turn, with Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, now drawn into the controversy. The dispute centers around Reynolds’ “Nicepool” character from the film Deadpool & Wolverine.

According to Deadline, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has sent a letter to Disney CEO Bob Iger and Marvel head Kevin Feige demanding the preservation of all evidence related to the film.

In the letter, Freedman claims that Reynolds’ character was created to mock and insult Baldoni, pointing out the character’s long hair and sarcastic behavior. The letter requests that Disney preserve all documents and communications related to the development, writing, and filming of scenes involving the “Nicepool” character.

Though no formal lawsuit has been filed yet, this letter indicates a potential legal action. The correspondence appears to be a strategic move by Baldoni to put pressure on the Lively-Reynolds duo.

So far, neither Disney nor Lively’s representatives have commented on the letter. The situation seems to be escalating, and Baldoni’s actions have sparked criticism on social media, with some people accusing him of focusing on personal revenge amidst the ongoing tragedy of the Los Angeles wildfires.
