Trump blames Democrats over wildfires

US President-elect Donald Trump engaged in a political spat with President Joe Biden and California’s Democratic governor on Thursday over the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County.

Los Angeles authorities have not been able to control the fire since it started on Tuesday. In this situation, Trump has started blaming the Democrats without any evidence. Among them, Governor Gavin Newsom has been accused of various types of failure. One of these allegations, Newsom is wasting water.

“Gavin Newsom (Governor Newsom) should resign,” Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social Media yesterday. It’s all his failure!”

“This is what the horrific fire in Los Angeles says: There’s no time to wait for January 20th,” Trump said. On that day, he will officially take over the White House from Joe Biden.

“Let this manifest itself as a symbol of the utter incompetence and mismanagement of the Biden-Newscom duo,” Trump said.
On the same day, Biden held an emergency meeting with administration officials at the White House. At the time, he countered Trump, saying that people should not do politics with this fire.

Biden was scheduled to meet Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic community, on the last leg of his presidential term. But he canceled the trip the day before considering the fire situation.
