Tottenham until 2026

The English Premier League club has extended the contract with the South Korean forward for one year.

Tottenham Hotspur have signed a one-year extension to Son Heung-min’s contract. So the South Korean forward will stay at the English Premier League club until 2026.

Son joined Tottenham in 2015. The 32-year-old is now the club’s captain. In 431 matches, he scored 169 goals and contributed 90 goals.

His contract was due to expire in June this year. He will remain at the north London club until June next year after Tottenham signed an extension on Tuesday.
He is the highest goal scorer as Asian in the Premier League. He is in the top 20 on the list of the best goalscorers of all time.

Son, who played in the 2014, 2018 and 2022 World Cups, has played 131 matches for South Korea so far.

Tottenham will face Liverpool in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
