‘We know how to beat them’: Rabada on Australia final

South Africa’s star pacer kept threatening Australia with the final of the Test Championship.

The final of the ICC Test Championship is still five months away. But the war of words began long ago. Australia may be favorites in the trophy fight. However, Kagiso Radaba is very confident about themselves. South Africa’s star pacer said that they know the ‘mantra’ of defeating Australia well.

South Africa has reached the final of the World Test Championship for the first time. Australia will play in the final for the second time in a row. They won the trophy by defeating India in the final of the last cycle.

The final of the current cycle will be on June 11 at Lord’s.

The 29-year-old Rabada knows they will be ‘underdogs’ in the final. However, the pacer, who made a big contribution to South Africa’s Test series wins against Australia in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, is also hoping for great things in the final.

“The final is still a long way away, but an occasion as big as the final of the Test Championship keeps everyone interested. There has always been a fierce rivalry between South Africa and Australia because we play very similar cricket. We play aggressive and they will be aggressive, we know that. But we also know how to beat them. ”

Australia will play two more Tests against Sri Lanka before the final. However, South Africa do not have any more red-ball matches at this time.

South Africa coach Shukri Conrad said they would try to play at least one Test before the final.

“Maybe against Ireland or Afghanistan in the UK, whoever is open, we will try to play a Test match. If we fail to do so, we will definitely go there a few days in advance and camp. ”
