Miley Cyrus Thanks Pamela Anderson After Golden Globe Nomination

Miley Cyrus has expressed her gratitude for Pamela Anderson and director Gia Coppola following her Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. Cyrus was nominated for her song “Beautiful That Way,” which she co-wrote with Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li for The Last Showgirl, a film featuring Anderson’s big screen comeback. On Instagram, Cyrus celebrated the nomination and thanked her collaborators, saying, “It’s an honor to be nominated for Best Original Song alongside my friends and collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li.”

She also praised Anderson, who plays a Vegas dancer in the film, for sharing the spotlight and expressed her continued support for the actress. “Pamela is graciously sharing her moment with us. I am continuing to root for her, it’s so fun to watch her shine,” Cyrus wrote. She further thanked Gia Coppola for involving her in the project, calling The Last Showgirl a “gem.”

The Last Showgirl tells the story of Shelley, a longtime Vegas dancer played by Anderson, who faces challenges after her show is canceled and struggles with aging in the industry. The film also explores her relationship with her daughter and her search for a new direction in life. The movie stars a notable cast, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Kiernan Shipka, and Dave Bautista, among others.
