David Tennant to Host the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards

David Tennant is set to return as the host for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards following his successful debut at this year’s ceremony. The Doctor Who star will lead the prestigious event on Sunday, February 16, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, which will be broadcast live on BBC One and iPlayer. The ceremony will also be available to viewers in the US and Australia on Britbox, with additional international broadcast details to follow.

The 2024 ceremony attracted over 3.8 million viewers, marking a third consecutive year of rising ratings. The awards also garnered more than 20 million video views across BAFTA’s social media platforms.
