KYIV — Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region and Kryvyi Rih on December 6 claimed the lives of at least nine people and wounded 20 others, according to regional officials.
In Zaporizhzhia, an assault struck a car repair workshop, igniting a fire and leaving seven dead, including two children among the four injured, regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported. Video from the site showed raging flames engulfing the destroyed building and a charred vehicle. Some areas also faced power outages following the strike, he added.
Meanwhile, in Kryvyi Rih, a missile hit an administrative building, killing two people and leaving at least 16 injured, including a child. Residential houses in the area sustained damage, and emergency services are still searching for one missing person, local officials stated.
