Disney’s ‘Snow White’ Trailer: Rachel Zegler Battles Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen

The new trailer for Disney’s Snow White dropped on Tuesday, showing Rachel Zegler as the iconic princess fighting to reclaim her Kingdom from Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen.

In the trailer, Snow White flees to the woods to escape her stepmother’s cruel rule. There, she meets the famous seven dwarfs—Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy—who offer her refuge. However, Snow White asks for their help to restore the Kingdom. “The Queen stole everything from all of us. I’m going to need your help. It’s time to restore our Kingdom,” Zegler’s Snow White tells her new friends.

The trailer also gives a sneak peek at Zegler’s emotional ballad Waiting on a Wish, and Snow White faces the Evil Queen, who disguises herself as an old woman and offers the poisoned apple.

Directed by Marc Webb and produced by Wicked producers Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, Snow White is a live-action musical reimagining of Disney’s 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The film features new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the creators behind The Greatest Showman.

Originally set for release in March 2024, the movie has been delayed to spring 2025 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The film also stars Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman and Martin Klebba as Grumpy.
