Trump Plans Key Roles for Indian-Americans in Potential Second Term

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former President Donald Trump is poised to elevate Indian-Americans to prominent positions within his administration if re-elected in 2024. Trump’s former spiritual advisor, Johnnie Moore, highlighted the inclusion of Indian-origin figures in Trump’s plans, reflecting the growing prominence of the Indian-American community in U.S. politics.

Indian-American Nominations Lauded

Moore, writing on X (formerly Twitter), applauded the nominations of Usha Vance, wife of President-elect JD Vance; Vivek Ramaswamy; Jay Bhattacharya; Tulsi Gabbard; and Kashyap “Kash” Patel. “The Indian-American/Hindu American community will be at the very heart of the second Trump administration. Quite a moment for one of America’s most vibrant minority communities,” he said.

Kash Patel Nominated to Lead FBI

Trump formally announced the nomination of Kash Patel as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on his Truth Social platform. “Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending justice, and protecting the American people,” Trump wrote.

Patel, who held senior positions during Trump’s first term, including Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense and Deputy Director of National Intelligence, was praised for his pivotal role in exposing the “Russia hoax.” Trump emphasized Patel’s extensive experience, including over 60 jury trials, as evidence of his suitability for the role.

Indian-American Community at the Forefront

The nominations underline Trump’s commitment to the Indian-American community, which Moore described as one of the most vibrant and influential minority groups in the United States. If Trump’s vision materializes, Indian-Americans would play a central role in shaping his administration’s policies and priorities.
