Putin Blames U.S. for Global Instability

Russian President Accuses U.S. of Undermining International Security

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of dismantling the global security framework and escalating tensions worldwide. Speaking on the ongoing geopolitical conflicts, Putin said U.S. actions are driving the world closer to a global confrontation.

“It was not Russia, but the U.S. that destroyed the international security system,” Putin stated. “By continuing to fight and cling to its hegemony, they are pushing the whole world into a global conflict.”

Emphasis on Diplomacy

Putin emphasized Russia’s preference for peaceful conflict resolution, asserting, “We have always preferred to resolve all disputes by peaceful means.” His remarks come amid heightened global tensions, with the war in Ukraine serving as a flashpoint between Russia and the West.

Escalating Hostilities

The statement follows recent reports of intensified military actions in Ukraine, including strikes involving U.S.-supplied weapons. Putin’s comments are part of Russia’s broader narrative accusing the U.S. and NATO of provoking the conflict by supporting Ukraine militarily and diplomatically.

Growing Divide Between East and West

Putin’s criticism highlights the deepening divide between Russia and Western nations, particularly the U.S., as both sides continue to trade accusations over the causes of global instability. While Western leaders have condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a violation of international law, Moscow insists that its actions are defensive and justified by NATO’s expansion near its borders.

The international community remains divided on the issue, with calls for de-escalation growing as fears of a wider global conflict loom.
