“Putin Warns of Response to Ukraine’s ATACMS Missile Plans, Calls for Trump’s Intervention to Prevent World War III”

Putin Outlines Russia’s Nuclear Deterrence Policy Amid Rising Tensions Over Ukraine’s ATACMS Missile Threat

Russian President Warns of Potential Nuclear Response to Ukraine’s Planned Missile Launch, Emphasizing Sovereignty Defense

In a key address on 19th November he has given a speech regarding this matter.

Putin’s 4-Minute Speech:

“Today’s discussion focuses on updating state policy regarding nuclear deterrence. This document officially outlines and elaborates on Russia’s nuclear strategy. A fundamental principle has been established for the use of nuclear weapons: they will only be employed as an extreme measure to defend the sovereignty of the nation. I want to emphasize that we have always approached such matters with the utmost responsibility. Our efforts have been directed toward strengthening the international legal framework governing nuclear weapons and preventing their proliferation or the spread of their components.

The nuclear triad remains a critical element in ensuring the security of the Russian state and its citizens, as well as in maintaining strategic parity and global balance. However, we recognize that the modern military-political landscape is changing rapidly, and we must adapt accordingly. This includes accounting for new sources of threats and risks to Russia and its allies. It is crucial to anticipate how these developments may unfold and adjust our strategic planning documents to reflect current realities.

In recent years, experts from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other departments have conducted a thorough and comprehensive analysis. This assessment has highlighted the need to revise our approaches regarding the possible use of nuclear weapons. The updated document specifies the conditions under which Russia may resort to nuclear force. These conditions include aggression against Russia by a non-nuclear state, particularly when such aggression is supported or directed by a nuclear-armed state.

Additionally, the document outlines scenarios involving the use of strategic or tactical aircraft and cruise missiles in response to aggression against Russia or its allies, such as Belarus. It also records conditions under which Russia may transition to the use of nuclear weapons in the event that conventional weapons pose a critical threat to Russia’s security or sovereignty. All these measures have been thoroughly reviewed and agreed upon.”

Putin’s speech comes as Ukraine plans to launch ATACMS missiles after receiving approval from U.S. President Joe Biden. The Russian leader’s update underscores the gravity of the situation, with the potential for a nuclear response if Moscow perceives a direct threat to its sovereignty.

As tensions mount, many are calling for global diplomatic efforts, with some urging figures like former U.S. President Donald Trump to intervene in order to avoid a catastrophic escalation that could lead to World War III.
