The conflict, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in significant casualties. At least 43,603 Palestinians have been killed, and over 102,929 injured, according to local health authorities. In Israel, approximately 1,139 individuals were killed during initial attacks by Hamas, with more than 200 taken captive. In Lebanon, Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of 3,136 people and injuries to 13,979 individuals since the conflict’s escalation.
This latest escalation has prompted urgent calls from international organizations for an immediate ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid access to Gaza and Lebanon.
