Zendaya to Reunite with Tom Holland in Nolan’s Next Movie

Zendaya, famous for her role in Challengers, will star with her Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star (and real-life boyfriend) Tom Holland in Christopher Nolan’s next movie, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed.

Anne Hathaway, who worked with Nolan on The Dark Knight Rises, is also in the cast, as is Matt Damon, who worked with Nolan on Oppenheimer. Both Hathaway and Damon were in Nolan’s Interstellar as well.

This will be the fourth time Zendaya and Holland have worked together. They were in Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. We don’t know much about Nolan’s new movie yet, but it will be released on July 17, 2026 — one week before Holland’s fourth Spider-Man movie, which comes out on July 24.

While it’s not confirmed yet, Zendaya is likely to return as MJ in the new Spider-Man movie. MJ is an important part of Peter Parker’s story, especially after the ending of No Way Home. (Spoiler: In the final scenes of No Way Home, MJ forgets Peter because of a spell that changes the universe, which could be a big problem for Peter.)

Next, Zendaya will star in a romance movie called The Drama with Robert Pattinson (who worked with Holland in The Devil All the Time). The movie will be directed by Kristoffer Borgli, who made Dream Scenario. Zendaya will also return as Rue in the third season of the popular HBO show Euphoria, which is expected to start filming in January.

In an interview with EW in October, Zendaya teased what fans can expect from the new season of Euphoria. “I don’t know exactly what the season will look like, but I do know there will be a time jump,” she said. “It will be interesting to see how the characters change as they get older and how their high school experiences affect their future.”

Anne Hathaway will next appear in Flowervale Street, a sci-fi movie directed by David Robert Mitchell, coming out in May. She also just finished filming Mother Mary, a drama directed by David Lowery.

Matt Damon’s next two movies will be with his longtime friend Ben Affleck. They’ll star together in a crime thriller called RIP and another movie, Animals, which Affleck will direct.
