Daniel Craig Not Interested in Who Replaces Him as James Bond

The actor finished his role as 007 more than three years ago in No Time to Die, but there’s still no official word on who will play Bond next.

While talking to Variety about his new movie Queer, Craig was asked, “Who would you like to see play James Bond after you?”

He simply said, “I don’t care.”

Although Craig hasn’t picked anyone, a studio executive recently said fans will need to wait a bit longer before finding out who will be the next Bond.

“There are many good ideas about who could play Bond that I find interesting,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, in an interview with The Observer. “We have a lot of options to consider.”

“We work closely with Eon Productions and the Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson,” she added. “We don’t want to change the way they make the films. We’re following their lead, and we believe fans will be patient. We don’t want to wait too long to make the next movie, but there’s no rush right now.”

Earlier this year, rumors suggested Aaron Taylor-Johnson might be the next Bond, but an insider later said there was no truth to those rumors.

Taylor-Johnson later dodged a question about the rumors during a red carpet interview.

In other news, all 25 James Bond films are now available to watch on Prime Video, except for the unofficial ones like the 1967 Casino Royale and 1983’s Never Say Never Again.
