Indian Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threat

What is happening in Bollywood? Salman Khan and his father have been receiving continuous death threats, and now Bollywood’s “King” Shah Rukh Khan has also been threatened with death. This has raised significant concerns across India

On Thursday, a threatening phone call was made from Chhattisgarh to the Mumbai police. In the call, an unknown young man threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan and demanded a ransom of 50 lakh rupees.

Following the call, the police have been on high alert. They have already traced the phone location and reached Chhattisgarh. Police have revealed that the call came from a youth named Faizan, and efforts are underway to track him down.

The police are trying to determine whether this individual is associated with any terrorist group, particularly Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. They are also investigating if there is any connection between this threat against Shah Rukh and the threats made against Salman Khan.

Indian media outlets reported that, due to security concerns, Shah Rukh Khan was particularly cautious on his birthday this year. He followed the advice of the police to ensure his safety. Every year on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan traditionally appears on the balcony of his home, Mannat, to greet his fans. However, this year, despite thousands of fans gathering in front of his house, Shah Rukh did not appear. His house was surrounded by tight security, much more so than usual.

In fact, the police paid extra attention to prevent large crowds from gathering in front of his house. Later in the evening, Shah Rukh held a special event and met with a select group of fans.

Shah Rukh Khan thanked the Mumbai police for the heightened security on his birthday, sending them food boxes and a “Thank You” note as a token of his appreciation for their efforts.

This is not the first time Shah Rukh has received death threats. After the success of Pathaan and Jawan, he was also threatened with death in October 2023. Following that incident, the Mumbai police provided him with Y+ category security, meaning he was protected by six armed security guards around the clock. It seems that Shah Rukh will once again have to live under stringent security measures, as one of India’s wealthiest and most popular actors.
