Joker: Folie à Deux is now available to watch at home in the UK. It was released in the US last month, and now it’s on digital platforms.
The movie had a hard time with reviews and box office sales. It didn’t do well in its opening weekends. But now, the digital release might give it a second chance to be successful.
In the UK, you can buy or rent Joker 2 right now on Prime Video, iTunes, and the Microsoft Store, since it was released on November 4.
In the US, the movie came out on October 29. You can buy or rent it there on Prime Video, iTunes, and other digital sites.
If you want a physical copy of the movie, you can pre-order it on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K Ultra HD in the UK. There’s also a special 4K Steelbook you can pre-order at HMV. But Warner Bros. has not said when the physical copies will be available.
Since the movie came out, people have been talking about the ending more than about how much money it made at the box office.
Joaquin Phoenix, who plays Arthur Fleck in the movie, said there is a “warmth” in the final scene, even though the story is dark.
“That’s all that I was thinking about… here’s this young man who is telling me a joke, and he’s nervous to tell me. I can tell he’s nervous, and I want to listen to him,” he explained about the ending.
