Sophie Turner Calls Divorce from Joe Jonas “Incredibly Sad”

Sophie Turner has shared her feelings about her divorce from Joe Jonas, calling it “incredibly sad.” In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the “Game of Thrones” actress talked about the end of her four-year marriage, saying, “I’m going through a legal process right now where I can’t really say much, but it was incredibly sad. We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard.”

Sophie and Joe first met when he sent her a message on Instagram. They got married in 2019 and have two children: Willa, born in 2020, and Delphine, born in 2022. Joe filed for divorce in September 2023, and Sophie has moved back to the UK, where she now lives in London.

“I’m so happy to be back. It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England,” she said. She expressed how important it is for her to be in London with her friends and family, especially after being away for six years. She mentioned missing important moments with her friends, like when they were getting engaged.

Sophie is also working on new projects. She recently starred in the ITV thriller “Joan” and will be in a psychological thriller called “Trust,” which is coming out early next year. She said the film reflects her life over the past year and helped her release some strong emotions.

“It’s a chance to let out some serious anger, which was fun. So that felt right for me to do,” she explained about her role in “Trust.”
