Islamabad, April 24, 2025 — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has sharply criticized India’s recent decision to scale back diplomatic relations with Pakistan, calling the move “childish” and lacking seriousness.
“India’s declarations are childish and show a clear lack of maturity,” Dar said during a press conference on Wednesday. His remarks come after New Delhi announced it would limit bilateral engagements with Islamabad amid rising political tensions.
The comments mark a fresh escalation in the already strained relations between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, with both sides trading blame over recent diplomatic and regional disputes.
