Continuous Rocket Attacks from Gaza to Israel by Hamas

The Israeli military has claimed that approximately 10 rockets were launched from Gaza and struck Israeli territory. According to the occupying forces, most of the rockets were successfully intercepted. (Source: Al Jazeera)

Citing a report from Israeli media outlet Haaretz, Al Jazeera stated that rocket fragments fell in Ashkelon and Gan Yavne, damaging several vehicles and slightly injuring three individuals.

Authorities are currently reviewing the full extent of the damage and the range of the missile attacks.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its relentless offensive on the besieged Gaza Strip. The territory has remained under a complete blockade for over a month, making the situation “suffocating,” according to local reports.

Since October 2023, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been conducting military operations in Gaza. Over the past 18 months, a total of 50,609 people have been killed and 115,063 injured in the region, with 56% of the casualties being women and children.

The conflict reignited on October 7, 2023, when Hamas militants from Gaza launched a surprise attack inside Israeli territory, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.

In response, Israel launched a large-scale military operation in Gaza on the same day. After more than 15 months of ongoing attacks, under pressure from the United States and other mediators, Israel announced a ceasefire on January 19. However, before two months had passed, the IDF resumed military operations in Gaza on March 18. In the second phase of the offensive, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the last 15 days alone.
