A small plane has crashed in the United States, resulting in the death of all passengers on board. However, the exact number of people on the aircraft is still unknown.

The incident took place in the Midwestern state of Minnesota, where the plane crashed into a house. According to a report by the British news outlet BBC on Sunday (March 30), the accident resulted in casualties.

Officials stated on Saturday that a small plane traveling from Iowa to Minnesota crashed into a suburban home and caught fire. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the aircraft took off at 12:20 PM local time and later crashed in a residential area of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Investigators have yet to determine the number of passengers on board. However, Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Sean Conway confirmed that no one survived. There have been no reported fatalities among the residents inside the house.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced that it is planning to investigate the cause of the crash. The reason behind the accident remains unknown. Officials from the agency are heading to the crash site in Minnesota and expect to be there on Sunday.

In a statement, the NTSB said, “Upon arrival at the site, investigators will begin documenting the scene and inspecting the aircraft. The plane will then be transported to a secure location for further evaluation.”

Social media footage shows the house engulfed in flames as local firefighters attempt to extinguish the fire.
